Modular belts

modular

Modular conveyor belts are a very good solution for optimizing production processes. Thanks to their modular structure, you can easily assemble and disassemble the belts, thus minimizing downtime and production losses. Our belts are FDA approved and can be used in direct contact with food products.

The modular belts we supply are characterized by the highest quality. A diverse range of patterns, materials, colors and types of belts allows us to meet most of your requirements. Belt modules can be connected using plastic or stainless steel rods. The possibility of using various materials allows them to be used at temperatures from -70 C to +104 degrees C. Additionally, along with the belts, we provide all the necessary accessories, such as: flights, side walls, drive wheels and guide strips.

Modular belts are particularly used in the broadly understood food processing industry, especially in the fruit and vegetable or meat industry, in devices such as palletizers, washers/rinsers, labeling machines, filling devices, accumulating tables, pasteurizers, blanchers, coolers, tunnels. freezing machines, elevators, etc. In addition, Primacon modular belts can be used in vegetable and fruit processing lines, bakery production, meat cutting lines, packaging and many other processes. Their design makes them easy to clean, and the materials used meet FDA requirements.

The high requirements of the automotive industry allow our belts to be used even in the toughest applications, on car assembly lines, tire production, battery production and the like.

Modular belts applications

DKT series

The MULTI conveyor belt is the highest quality mesh belt for straight-line operation, intended for general food and industrial applications. Transverse wires ensure its stability, and the possibility of using reinforcing links, side chains, edges, and drivers make it suitable for the most demanding tasks. The belt's structure and smooth surface make it easy to wash.

PLATE LINK modular belts with a pitch of 50 mm are made of stainless steel and are dedicated especially to freezing tunnels and to wherever high strength is required for the transport of heavy loads. For the heaviest tasks, we dedicate a modular conveyor belt of the HEAVY PLATE LINK type, where the thickness of the reinforcing plates is 2.5 mm and the diameter of the transverse bars is Ø12.0 mm. Available materials are AISI304 and AISI316. This modular belt requires side chain guidance.

DKT series plastic modular belts are available in pitches of 76.2 mm, 50 mm and 25 mm. All series have been designed to meet the requirements of transporting food products and their smooth surface minimizes contamination and facilitates cleaning. Many surface patterns allow for various applications in the temperature range from -60 degrees C to +110 degrees C.

MTB modular belt

Modular MTB belts are the best solution for blanching and cooking (including steaming). These conveyor belts have for many years been considered the strongest on the market in the above-mentioned food production processes, and the combination of plastic modules, stainless rods, tubes and reinforcing lines ensures flexibility and protects the belt against the negative effects of temperature expansion. That's why they are so perfect for: blanching vegetables/rice, heat treatment of various types of cakes, cooking, cooling and freezing fish, vegetables and fruit. Modular MTB belts provide you with minimal servicing costs and the highest durability on the market.

The belts supplied in primacon are standardly made of materials such as:

  • polyacetal (pom) - material approved by the FDA for direct contact with food. Its universality lies in the possibility of using it in both warm and hot environments (operating temperatures from -43C to +95 degrees C). POM has limited chemical resistance. It is a very stable and stiff material that can carry heavy loads. It is very resistant to stretching and has a low coefficient of friction (between the belt and the slides).
  • polyethylene (PE) - material approved by the FDA for direct contact with food. It is mainly used in cold working conditions (freezing, cooling), at temperatures between -73 C and +66 degrees C. This material is very chemically resistant. but relatively average in tensile strength. Polyethylene is also not impact resistant at very low temperatures.
  • polypropylene (pp) - material approved by the FDA for direct contact with food. The material is adapted to work at high temperatures from +5C to +104 degrees C. Polypropylene has high chemical resistance. It is a strong material with medium tensile strength and low impact resistance at low temperatures.
  • polyamide (pa) nylon 6 - nylon is suitable for work at temperatures of -45 C to 110 C. Nylon has high chemical resistance, but is not suitable for work in a humid environment at high temperatures. It is a flexible material with high tensile and impact strength.
