Drum motors
Primacon offers a wide range of drum motors and other drives for belt conveyors. We cooperate with specialized and renowned research centers, and additionally, we constantly improve and modernize our designs. Primacon drum motors are characterized by reliability, durability and the ability to work even in difficult conditions. We own extensive technical knowledge, immense experience in the industry and the highest competences that will certainly help our customers choose the right drive. We also offer after-sales support in the transport of light products (also made of stainless steel) and heavy industrial applications.

Motorized drums
Motorized drums are a new line of Primacon products. Unlike traditional drum motors, the motor with a power of 2.2kW to 280kW is located outside, while the bearings and gear are located in a tightly closed drum with a diameter of Ø320mm to Ø1000mm. Thanks to this design, motorized drums are almost maintenance-free. A high-quality sealing system minimizes oil leaks and prevents dust or water entering the drum. The design also allows for the selection of motors suitable for the scenario (explosion-proof, etc.), mounted with standard flanges, which also facilitates their service.
